Archival pigment inks and acrylic paint on raw canvas (2024).
Exploring additive and subtractive color : Additive color is created by mixing light. Subtractive color is created by mixing materials. In this approach I am mixing light through paint and the use of reflective materials creating an interactive experience as the viewer moves around the artwork. Light reflects and refracts on the surface of the painting creating 'spectrum shadows' and a dance of rainbows in natural light.
My hope is that the things I create convey a sense of divine beauty and sacredness, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all things. less
