The lamp is in good condition with some signs of age and use. There are a couple of chips to the ceramic as shown in photographs 10 and 11 (highlighted by red arrows). There also appear to be a couple of chips under the metal base as shown in photograph 9. The metal base and cap have an aged patina. One arm of the double socket is a little loosey goosey and as a consequence sits lower than the other arm. The wiring works well and appears sound though it is an older plug and could be replaced, if desired. Original shade is not available.

Art Deco awesomeness! C.1930 ceramic lamp by French ceramist, Robert Lallemant (1902-1954), decorated with a hand painted fruit basket scene incorporating shades of blue, green, teal, yellow, brown, light plum and highlighted by black. Lallemant was inspired by the artistic movements of his youth including the early modernists, surrealists and cubists. This lamp has elements of all those inspirations. The unique silhouette includes architectural style angles at the side with a narrow and rectangular body that creates a practical profile for slim spaces. The decorated image appears on both sides, front and back. The ceramic is outfitted with a metal base and cap and the lamp illuminates with two standard size sockets that include pull chain switches. The lamp is marked at the base.
In its entirety (including hardware), the lamp measures 18" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep. The ceramic body of the lamp measures 9.5" tall x 9" wide x 3.25" deep. less
