A stunning and unique vintage oversized Hand-Blown Glass and Brass Hurricane Centerpiece candle holder, that would make a fabulous statement in an entry hall or Living room.
I believe it to be circa 1950's.
The globe is made of very thick hand-blown glass accented by a brass rim, and the base is made from solid brass and a black polished stone, either granite or marble. The entire hurricane is very heavy!
It stands 17" tall, and is 13" in diameter at the widest part of the glass hurricane. The base measures 6.5" square and 6" high.
It is in very good overall condition considering its age and use. It does have some darkening to the patina on the brass which is expected and is shown in the photographs.
Please note, candle is not included.
