These are very heavy in weight for their size, authenticating their vintage and value. The finish is in dark bronze, with a round hole formed near the top for hanging indoors or out. Their use is intended to hold a pillar candle. For a more modern indoor application, use the battery operated type. Alternatively, these could also hold a small flower-pot to display a botanical foliage or succulent wall hanging. Simply use a flowerpot that has a drain hole and place it over the pointed stake that was intended to hold a candle.
