Born in Mulheim, Germany he studied with well known German impressionist painters Paul Daley and G. Martin. After WWII he immigrated to the USA. This depiction is of a church in Canoncito NM and represents his expansive knowledge of both landscapes and Southwestern architecture. Muted, earthy colors mix well in hour favorite space. See less
