This lovely and beautifully formed Tiffany and Co.19th Century Sterling Silver Food Pusher Pat. IX95 T originates from the United States during the late 19th Century. A rare utensil originating from victorian society where it was considered rude for anyone in any circumstance, even children, to touch food with their hands. This beautiful piece would assist children in pushing dinner onto their fork. Also contains a period inscription of the name "Terry". Featuring a comparatively sparse patterning with floral detailing at the base and linear grooves leading to the head of the piece, this gorgeous piece by Tiffany and Co. sports lovely proportions and is a wonderful addition to those who appreciate examples of the finest silver work of the 19th Century. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
