Created by Delphin Massier (1836-1907) in the town of Vallauris, where his family had lived for generations, these pieces show an exuberance and a passion for the local flora and fauna. Both columns decorated with herons This set of columns were such a successful model that in Massier's posthumous product catalogue of 1908 they are offered in various sizes.
