Mies Van Der Rohe (1886-1969). Interior Perspective, 1939 (Row House with Interior Court). Limited Edition Mies Van Der Rohe Lithograph. This is a Limited Edition Lithograph of the original project that is in the Permanent Collection at Moma. This project is of the Interior Perspective. Studio drawing, Pencil and wood veneer on illustration board. From the presses of Ludwig Glaeser, 1969. Artwork is accompanied with Gallery Certificate of Authentication and Provenance.
In this montage each identical unit occupies a square lot which is enclosed by brick walls shared with the neighboring units... the educational advantages of Mies' montages are apparent: the relation of interposed walls and the effect of floating space is more tangible than in conventional perspectives (of this time).
