Consisting of 16 form-cut stylized animals made from expandable resin.
Enzo Mari is one of the 20th Century's most storied Italian designers. His iconic Modernist puzzle '16 Animali' was conceived of the thought experiment of a single continuous cut. The editions from the late 50's were produced in that manner. This version from 1972 is produced in expandable resin. This became the first in a series of many puzzles Mari would go on to produce. Danese released a limited run of these puzzles in the early 2000's.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is fritting and minor chipping to the edges of the figures here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Each of the corners of both top & bottom of the box have been retaped in the past.
