Incredible antique copper cauldron. Originally created in the mid-1800s for cooking. Heavy copper construction with amazing crimped seams at the bottom edge that almost look like braiding. Decorative notches on the top rim. Curved hour glass style shape. Forged iron handles with copper brads. Lightly polished to highlight the copper but retain the aged patina.
The copper pot measures about 18 inches in diameter at the top and 21 inches in diameter at the bottom. It is about 15 inches deep. A great container to hold firewood or throws. Large enough to hold an array of plants or a favorite indoor tree.
