Rare!! Antique Japanese Celestial Sphere Kutani Vase

Historically Japanese traditional ceramics were divided into two branches, one was in NORTH called Arita( western term called Imari) from, 1611 and the other was represented by Kutani dating back to the Daishoji Clan in 1655, the art of Kutani was revived by Kutani Shoza in the 19th century. His vivid enamels and gold brocade brought a new range of color and design. Take this 19th-century gorgeous crimson red vase known as Celestial Sphere (Tianqiu 長頸天球瓶 which first originally made by Jingdezhen(j in YongLe(永楽 。 Min dynasty ,China). It has a long cylindrical neck with a flared rim. A bulbous round body decorated with medallions of classic Japanese motifs, intricately hand-painted in stylized waves and cloud brushwork.
The shape of Celestial Sphere( meaning in Chinese "ball from Heaven" symbolized peace for thousands years ) has higher value in Chinese antique market and has been favorable collectable antique for collectors. Gold brocade Kinrande porcelain is always has higher price in auction or sale. and Japanese authorities has been collecting those ANTIQUE EXPORTING
abroad . It is ideal for museum as well as individual collector.
Signed on the base as "Made in Kotani 九谷造." Kotani also was place producing gold and the earliest porcelain makers were actually local gold workers. It's a perfect centerpiece that will add elegance and grace to any home or office
