A stunning set, in decoration and form. This set is marked on the underside in script. The teacup has both the DG mark and a black & gold pagoda mark.
Although not marked Le Tallec, research indicates this rare set was made in France by La Tallec prior to 1940 and was perhaps a private commission (A similar set in black and gold color was found at Galerie Passiflora in France).
All pieces are free of chips, cracks or repairs. There is extensive wear to the gilding on all pieces and has been discounted due to this condition.
