Jaspe terra cotta ceramic pitcher in a marbleized pattern of burnt orange, green and white. This pitcher was made in the Savoie region of France in the late 19th century. It is marked with a 1 on the bottom and the spout is on the side as opposed to being opposite the handle.
Jaspe pottery is typically marble-like swirls of color or geometric designs of lines or dots, it was considered country pottery and meant to be used daily. less
