This Ronald " Ron " Davis rare vintage 1978 Geometric lithograph print Abstract exhibition poster " Parallel Waves " 1977, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithograph print poster is published in an unnumbered limited edition in 1978 on the occasion of the exhibition at The John Berggruen gallery in San Francisco. It features an original artwork created by Davis in 1977 titled " Parallel Waves ".
Ron Davis ( B. 1937 ) is an American Contemporary painter whose work is associated with Geometric Abstraction, Abstract illusionism, Lyrical Abstraction, and Color Field painting. he is a veteran of nearly seventy solo exhibitions. His works have been an important influence on the Abstract movements since the 1960's. Artworks by Davis are held in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art New York, The Tate Gallery London, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and The Art Institute of Chicago.
The rare out of print lithograph print exhibition poster measures 22 1/2" W X 27" H. It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and some signs of handling and wear.
