Depicting the Arrival of the Portuguese to Japan in 1543. St. Francis and another monk at the top right corner. The Museum of Art in Amsterdam doesn't allow any painters to make painted copies of the screen. This is a vintage copy of the screen printed by the Museum of Art. This artwork comes from the collection of Honorable George C. Carr United States District Court Chief Judge Federal Middle District of Florida. Letter signed by his son is included with purchase.

The original simple custom wood frame and glass piece were broken in shipment. There was not much value in the frame. Now this piece is offered for sale unframed which allows us to offer you much better shipping rate. We will ship it to you folded in half.

Good condition - minor age wear overall, tape on back to hold the panels of the screen together.
