Beautifully carved … more With seemingly simple symmetrical lines, look closely and discover the unique details of this 19th century work table. Beautifully carved wood swans heads, with necks that extend gracefully above in scrolled supports. The stretcher features four bent legs with hoof feet. All with subtle gilt and brass accents. The oval recess top, with a stunning wood grain, is brass-banded and has a frieze drawer.
At the center of the stretcher is a curved wood dish suitable for displaying a small fern or ivy plant.
Overall, it is an absolutely charming yet sophisticated piece with intricate craftsmanship.
