This late 20th-century octagonal beauty (circa 1970/1980) has a fabulous Regency look-and-feel with its faux bamboo gilt wood veined design and multi-panel mirrored profile. The gilt finish on this gorgeous mirror mimics the patina of ancient gilded wood pieces. It will serve wonderfully as an eye-catching entryway or feature wall mirror (whether hung vertically or horizontally) or a great powder room accent. This beauty’s frame, hung vertically measures 31½” x 25¼” x 1½” H/W/D. If hung horizontally it measures 25¼” x 31½” x 1½” H/W/D. There are eight decorative mirrored cut-outs that form the paneled look of the mirror. The large interior mirror measures 22¾” x 16” H/W if hung vertically, 22¾” x 16” W/H if hung horizontally. The center top and bottom “cut-outs” measure 11” x 2½” W/H apiece. The left and right “cut-outs measure 17½” x 2½” H/W apiece. The four smallest “cut-outs” measure 6½” x 2½” W/H apiece; approximate weight 20 lbs. Current wire hanger is situated to be hung vertically. If you add an additional hanging bracket on the back with wire, the mirror can be hung horizontally. Crafted from a composite wood material that is substantive in weight and integrity. In excellent condition with minimal age appropriate-wear. There is one indiscernible black speck on the upper side of the left mirrored panel (see photo 8) that does not affect its beauty or utility. There is a model/style number on the backside of the mirror but the makers label has long since fallen off. However, the mirror has been attributed to the Carolina Mirror Company. With its Hollywood Regency vibe, this beauty will make a sophisticated and casually elegant statement in any modern space!
