This aquatint by Philippe Lejeune depicts the Chrysler Building and also the McGraw Hill building in wonderful detail in soft colors. It has a double mat with the outer mat a natural linen. Any lover of New York will appreciate this lovely work of art.
Philippe Lejeune, born in 1951, is a French printmaker and painter. He studied printmaking at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Des Arts Décoratifs, in Paris. Lejeune has focused his painting and printmaking on American cities, New York mostly, but also seeking out other iconic buildings as inspiration.
