Elegant Louis XVI Style Italian walnut chest of drawers with burl inlay, Tuscany circa 1890. Three drawers with dovetail joinery, separate locks & keys. Fine arts & crafts detail exhibited in a trim, modern form. Trophy floral marquetry centerpiece on the top with burl inlay border matching the drawer fronts. Wide burl inlay on the vertical front frame and tapered legs. Handsome cross-cut grain pattern on the drawer fronts with centered inlay artistry at the keys.
Chest measures: 47.25" width, 20.4" depth, 37.25" height.
Drawer interiors measure 39.5” width, 16.5” front to back depth. Upper drawer provide 3” vertical depth, lower 2 drawers each provide 8.5” vertical depth.
