Pottery studio earthenware beauty, substantial in-size and one-of-a-kind done in a whimsical abstract double dragonfly and tulip floral and foliate motif with a highly glazed finish. Background is vibrant sunshine yellow with intentional light burnished brushstroke throughout, accented with garden green, wisteria, ruby and tangerine orange hues. It can be displayed on a wall, as there is a hole for hanging on the lip of the rim on the underside (the wire in the photo can be used if the loop is tightened) and suggest you use a nail with an anchor if you plan to hang it on the wall, as it weighs 8 lbs. It will also look fabulous propped up on a large iron plate holder (not included) as an accent on a kitchen island or tabletop. It measures 17¾” x 18” x 1½” H/W/D; weight 8 lbs. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. There is an indiscernible chip on the underside the size of a chia seed (see photo 10) which is unseen from the front and does not affect its beauty or utility. The signature of the artist is located re is on the front lower right corner.
