We are here to help you do just that!! This is an INCREDIBLE and sought-after 1968 flip-top executive partners desk by iconic Danish designer Peter Lovig Nielsen! It is comprised of gorgeous rosewood and features a stepped-up cubby top with its original trays which can be used as a single workspace for one person; BUT that cubby top is hinged with lovely, rounded butterfly hinges and can fold down which creates an expanded work surface or partner desk style workspace that will accommodate two people. How awesome is that?? It features two larger drawers in the center and two smaller side drawers with rosewood handles; one drawer had a brass lock mechanism (it’s missing now) but comes with the original key. The inverted base is comprised of four straight squared legs with stretchers between which enhances its sturdiness. And although obviously it is a phenomenal desk for your home office or study, it could double as a table! What a great versatile option for a smaller living space! We just LOVE this marvelous example of Scandinavian Modern excellence!

Peter Lovig Nielsen is a leading name in Danish design from the modern Scandinavian movement of the 50’s & 60’s. He is famous for his desks, storage furniture, and tables. He favored working with high quality, beautifully grained woods such as teak, rosewood, and walnut. His recognizable designs feature organic curved or rounded edges and tapered legs. One of his most famous pieces produced by Hendensted Mobelfabrik is the 1956 Boomerang Desk which features V shaped legs and an L shaped top. His furniture is highly sought after in the 21st century vintage scene.
