Vintage Beni Ourain Rug from the Azial tribe in Morocco. Green and red cotton designs on Ivory wool, mid-century rug from the 1940s to 1960s. This lovely little runner is so plush! It is handwoven using the best wool from the High Atlas mountains. The weaver used red and green wool to create the well known Beni Ourain lattice pattern which is a continuous netted design.
The size is 60 inches long by 30 wide. The pile height is thick and even, reaching around 2.5 inches.
How perfect this carpet would be for a child's play spot or a foot-friendly landing at your bedside. Another idea for boho themed rooms is to hang as textural wall art.
