Mid-century, vintage desk with 2 drawers, circa 1960's.

the top has golden- blonde and brown-colored formica top with a "faux wood" effect, with rounded edges, and black, formica trim (see photos.)
it rests on a black frame made of tubular steel, with upside down, hairpin-shaped legs with their original legs tips, and a footrest bar

there is storage compartment made of plywood, with 2, formica covered, chamfered drawers, which can be opened by using the carved spaces underneath each one. Both drawers are clean, and open and close properly. Only a very slight bit of resistance on the second drawer, which should disappear over time, with usage.
piece is in overall, very good, original and vintage condition with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, top, edges, trim, drawers and metal structure (see various photos.) please note: a very slight discrepancy of height (0.4 cm), between the center and edges of the top, which can be expected for a piece of this age. We think the metal structure may have been refinished at some point in time by a previous owner.
desk is stable and sturdy. It has only been gently cleaned and polished with respect to its original patina.
