The porcelain vase with gilt mounts is very possibly Edmé Samson, the noted 19th century Parisian porcelain copyist. If it is not Samson, it is early 19th century Qing Dynasty.

The lamp has been rewired, and is in very good condition. The porcelain vase shows damage on the foot with an early repair that may have occurred at the time of manufacturing as the glaze closely matches the glaze on the rest of the body. Otherwise there is wear consistent with age and use.
