On the back reads 128134 on the bottom right hand side, along with 2 embossing marks. Back lower left hand corner reads p-4000.
From the visionary Pop artist of the 1960s to the master of Neo-Expressionism, Peter Max has come a long way. His vivid and colorful paintings have endured and are now considered as emblematic of the ethos of the 1960s and 1970s in American culture.
The artist has painted for six American presidents in the course of his lengthy career. He also served as the official artist for the U.S. team for the 2006 Winter Olympics and produced artwork for Woodstock, World Cups, U.S. Opens, and Super Bowls. less
