Rare American Empire ogee mirror, mounted at top with an 18th c. French engraving of Versailles by noted French engraver, Antoine Aveline (1691-1743). The engraving is hand colored and is titled "Vue et Perspective de l'Entrée de la Menagerie".
The mirror is constructed from matched flame mahogany, all intact. The wood has a curved and beveled detail on sides. The mirror has been replaced. less
