The faceted weight is cased within a deep ruby red layer of glass cut to clear revealing an intaglio dragonfly on the polished base visible through each facet. The paperweight retains a faded original gold foil label that reads Finest English Full Lead Crystal / Royal Doulton / Made in England. The weight rests in a satin-lined, hinged and fitted box with Royal Doulton / Crystal / Made in England embossed in gold on top. The paperweight is in very good condition, measuring 2 in. height x 3.25 in. diameter. The box remains intact but shows more wear, measuring .25 in. width x 5.38 in. depth x 2.5 in. height. less
