The American art pottery vase flares outward into a fan shape with subtle ribbed detailing around the body which rests atop an oval foot. The vessel's matte glaze is a velvety dusty rose-pink with mottled pale green accents around the mouth and shoulder. The slender fan-shaped design is an ideal ornament for a shelf, a window sill, or a mantlepiece.

Very good condition with a tiny glaze nick or skip on one side, measuring 5.75 in. height x 3.38 in. diameter (at widest part of rim), with Rookwood's RP flame trademark, XXVII [1927] / 2959 [form/shape number] impressed on the base.
