- This very unique brass mercantile or store hat rack has four hinged hangers, set at a varied height. Each hanger … more This very unique brass mercantile or store hat rack has four hinged hangers, set at a varied height. Each hanger or rod, is 3.5 inches in length. The rods can fold upward but do not lock in place. The black metal base is 9.75 inches in diameter. The piece has a warm patina to the brass and it is a very sturdy. Use it for whatever you would like to display, hats, ties or necklaces. The hat rack is in good vintage condition with a varied patina to the brass. There appears to have been an attachment at the base that is no longer there; see photographs. less
