Original color woodblock print, framed and matted. Titled in pencil “Stilleben mit Japan. figur” (Still life with Japanese figure) and signed by artist in pencil, along with artist’s initials (MEPH) in print. Circa 1915-1920.
Martin Erich Phillips (1887-1978) was a German printmaker who studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts and the Dresden Art Academy.
