Due to some sun light fading, to two end sections, all pieces have been stripped, hand sanded, pre-conditioned and stained with Congac Red woodstain, followed by a pigmented wash of Garnet Red. The results are heavenly. This revealed much more of the wood’s grain, and adds to the drawing of eyes upward. Its nearly a 10/10, but for a few minor scrapes(-1) that could not be fully removed by steaming. less
