Woodard metal outdoor furniture has been manufactured in the United States since 1934. Originally a wood casket manufacturing company started in 1866 in Michigan, the family business has been extremely adapt at weathering fires, wars and other obstacles like hardwood and pine shortages in Michigan. It’s how they became one of the premier metal outdoor furniture companies. By 1960 they were producing more than 100,000 pieces of metal furniture. This side table is from the 1970s and features a mesh top with continuous bent metal legs in a six-sided shape. It has been newly painted its original black.
