Both statues have separate but attached wings that have been nailed onto the body. Paint loss is significant on the taller of the statues. Both statues originally held staffs or weapons on end, such as spears, in each hand. These no longer exist. The position of the feet on the bases is different from one to the other.

These statues are in good original condition given the wear from age and use. There is evidence of insect destruction on one wing, there is significant paint loss throughout, cracks from drying wood and a loss of wood at the top back of the left wing on the shorter of the statues.

Dimensions: taller statue with greater paint loss - 34” width, 20” depth, 61.5” height, shorter statue with paint largely intact - 42” width, 16” depth, 60.5” height less
