An antique Japanese copper, goldstone and cloisonne enamel vase from the Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. Features a slender tapering ovoid form rising to a short waisted octagonal neck with everted mouth. The lobed body is decorated with polychrome medallions depicting Phoenix birds and dragons.
