Wonderful work made in mixed media on a metal plate (with an original advertising poster on the back) by the Valladolid painter Jesús García Tola. Faithful reflection of the vigorous style of the artist, standard bearer of artistic experimentation and meditated composition, it shows an abstract composition starring warm, intense and saturated colors: reds, oranges and yellows, which come together on the canvas after a meticulous mental process where nothing arises randomly or by chance. The compositions are premeditated, each stroke is thought out. He plays with color and texture, creating large reliefs and roughness.
Jesús García Tola began to stand out at a very early age, when he was only 9 years old he won the first Painting Prize in Valladolid. He abandoned his medical studies to enter the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid, traveled to Paris and toured Europe, exhibiting his works in capitals such as Paris, Berlin, Brussels, London, Prague, Moscow\.
Abstract art is a style of artistic expression characterized by representing concepts abstracted from reality or independent of what is recognizable by the senses, through freedom, irrationality and diversity of shapes, lines and colors. That is to say, it is a subjective art that does not represent in a precise or figurative way the visual reality perceived by the human being. It emerged around 1900 and was the axis of modern art that encompassed various artistic movements, such as cubism, surrealism and De Stijl. Abstract art allows to generate different interpretations or points of view according to the receiver because it does not seek to reach the perfection of the stroke or plausible compositions. It is considered as an art that reaches another dimension of morality and spirituality, because it expresses emotions and sensations separated from logic and objectivity.
