This showcase cabinet comes from a monumental school building called "Hoogere Burger School" in Ter Apel. The school building was designed by Architect Gart Westerhout and was completed in 1924. According to history, the furniture was manufactured by H. Pander & Zn in the Amsterdam Style.It is wonderful to see that features of the interior design of this building are reflected in the design of this cabinet. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
