This midcentury modern teak floor lamp is tapered, sleek and simple in design. The lamp consists of a single pole that tapers from top to bottom, on a round base. There is no maker’s mark, however it is similar to lamps produced by the Laurel Lamp Company.
The lamp is approximately 63.25” tall to the top of the shade. The lamp is approximately 48” tall to the base of the socket. The height from the base to the top of the harp is approximately 59.5” tall. The base is approximately 9” across. I do not know the exact age of the lamp, but it most likely was made in the 1960s.
I perform research on each item to ensure my descriptions are as accurate as possible, but I am not an expert. I welcome any additional information that a viewer can provide.
The majority of listings are vintage, and as a result, there are often marks, consistent with age and use. These may include minor surface scratches, nicks or scuffs. I do my best to point the condition issues with the pictures. An interested buyer can always request more pictures.
DISCLAIMER FOR VINTAGE ELECTRIC LAMPS: I have checked to make sure the lamp is working, however, I have not checked to make sure the wiring is perfectly safe for use. I recommend that the wiring be replaced or checked or inspected by an electrician prior to use. Unsafe electric lamps can cause injury from electric shock or fire. As the seller, I assume no responsibility for injury or property damage resulting from the use of this lamp. less
