The creative arts movement was … more his is a lovely vintage, hand throne clay umbrella stand, that was made in 1966. The creative arts movement was running strong in the city of Montreal at that time, as was the MCM craze. This piece shows it was made by a skilled potterer, with a combination of using wheel and hand building techniques. Very sturdy piece, no cracks or chips. It measures 20" tall x 10" in diameter. It sports a beautiful reticulated flower design, with cream and brown glazes being used throughout. Would be a lovely addition of artistry to any home's decor. Signed on bottom of piece. less
