Manufactured in the 1960’s, Replogle crafted an incredible globe using what was, at the time, state of the art technology. The mid-century modern style masterpiece they came up with was an illuminating globe with three distinct light intensities, all of which were operated by touching your fingers on the metal meridian that encircled the globe. These three shades each cast an amazingly alluring and almost hypnotizing glow. Even more than that, the globe is cradled atop an impressive and elegant wooden stand, which — in true mid-century form— features four tapered legs. This piece is in excellent condition. It’s fully functional & has very little cosmetic damage or wear. There is one chip in the plastic cap on the top, which has been pictured. Overall, it stands 37-inches tall, while the globe has a diameter of 20-inches. See less
