Offering a very attractive pair of French wall sconces with signed Muller shades (in one of Muller’s most sought after Art Deco designs). The shades, which are made of colorless glass are in perfect condition. When manufactured, the glass was frosted and a variety of areas left or polished clear; these accents "sparkle" when lit, the result of the filament of the bulb (if you use a clear bulb).
The nickel-plated brass sconce backs have their original antique patina, now more beautiful than ever with the passage of time.
These sconces have been newly rewired; the original bayonet sockets are present and in perfect working order. These French sockets are far sturdier and longer-lasting than any American socket that could be introduced, so they’ve been left intact. You can easily buy bayonet-mounting bulbs on the Internet in a wide variety of wattages and shapes, manufactured specifically for 110-130 American voltage. Yes, they could also be used with European 220 current.

Each sconce is provided with a “strap” for your assistance in mounting these sconces on the wall (see one photo of the back of one sconce showing the strap). Put two screws into the wall for each strap and ... voila!
Measurements: about 8 ½ inches top to bottom. The back plate is 3 inches at its widest point; the shades are 4 1/8 inches at their widest point. less
