The artist's abstract paintings are inspired by her garden, and her interactions with the plant world in general. She continues to be fascinated by the natural world's cycle of growth, decay and rebirth. This acrylic painting is on gallery wrapped canvas. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back, and has a UV protective varnish. It is in a black wood floater frame with a narrow gold front edge, which is wired and ready to hang.
Laurie MacMillan has enjoyed numerous awards and solo exhibitions, and has had pieces selected for over a hundred juried group shows. Her work is held in personal and business collections across the U.S., and in Canada and England.
