The sideboard is of good quality and proportions. It is veneered in figured rosewood to the drawers and to one sliding cupboard door, with sapele veneers to the rest. The sideboard rests on contrasting ebonised stilt tapering legs. The drawers and cupboards have the original brass handles.

In excellent clean condition, cleaned and waxed, showing a few light marks to the ebonised finish to note. Very sturdy with no damage. Both cupboard doors slide well, and the drawers work well.

The bottom drawer is lined with baize for cutlery, there is a mark to the interior. One cupboard space has a fixed recessed shelf, the other is open. All clean on the inside.
