This set of four dainty custard cups and matching saucers features hand-painted, colorful Dresden flowers and gold trim, a hallmark of Helena Wolfsohn's studio in Dresden, Germany during the 1870s. Wolfsohn, known for decorating blank Meissen porcelain, was a renowned artist who independently crafted and marketed her pieces with remarkable detail. The distinctive "Crown over D" mark used on these pieces is synonymous with some of the finest Dresden wares of the 19th century.
