For Sale is an Amazing Pen and Ink Drawing of a Nude Model Standing Sideways with Arms Folded and Hand on Chin.
Philip Reisman was born in Poland 1904 and moved to New York City when he was 4 years old.
He died in NYC 1992.
He was apart of WPA & Ashcan School, Mid-Century.
Reisman studied at New York Art Students League.
His style of art is Social Realism.
This Beautiful Drawing is signed in the lower left.
Stunning live portrait (timed?) drawing at his Studio or a studio.
It is on quality drawing paper that is becoming brittle with age. It has a small tear in the lower right area. A tiny tear on the right side, under frame, across from the models elbows. There is a photo of it.
The Image measures 11.5" wide x 17.5" tall.
The outer frame measures 17" wide x 22.5" tall x 1" deep.
The frame is wood with gold leaf that has not stayed on well. less
