An Artistic and very well crafted Mid Century Bowl in highly figured Walnut. Dating from the 1960’s, the Bowl is highly decorative, elemental, large and a fantastic example from the Mid Century Crafts movement. The Bowl is lathe turned and has spectacular graining in richly streaked black and brown which have been masterfully incorporated into the bowl shape. With surprising weight and stability which belies the delicacy of the turning, this Bowl is a rare and very beautiful object for use in any number of interior applications. Unsigned.
