20th century black lacquered cabinet with gold chinoiserie lotus blossom motif decoration. The bookcase section has wire front doors in the style of a bibliotheque. The top of the cabinet is crowned with a pierced pediment in the 18th century Chippendale style. There is one drawer and the lower section is a double door cabinet.
This black lacquered cabinet is in good original condition with wear consistent with age and use. The drawer pulls show oxidation, and may be replacements.
