An elegant antique gilt wood French mirror decorated with delicate gilded Neoclassical composition ornament, in a very refined take on Charles X style Neoclassicism. This mirror may date to the third quarter of the 19th century, when earlier Charles X designs of ca. 1825 experienced a revival, although it may be period, ca. 1825-30. Good antique condition, with typical wear, signs of age, patination. Later beveled mirror plate.
