I learned French walnut is different from stateside when the furniture maker who made the leaves could not match them until learning the table was French and old. Table comes with two leaves (made 20 years ago to match original table) which allow the table to go from seating 6 to 12. Many happy memories of gatherings of friends and family attached. Four original chairs included. One needs recaning. Base can be removed for shipping. less
