Originally built in the 1960's this minimalist desk has undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process that features a genuine leather desk top as well as a custom-milled edge banding cut from a solid slab of sustainably sourced black American walnut.

The desk top has been recovered in an Italian genuine leather hide. The hide is thick-cut assuring durability and longevity and the rich, jet black tone perfectly offsets the warm walnut woodgrains.

The drawer box features a remarkable, curved plywood design that is structurally and aesthetically fascinating with stunning, variegated woodgrains that are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. The lock has been replaced, functions and includes two keys. The handles have been sand-blasted and repainted in an automotive-grade polyurethane paint ensuring that even the smallest details were taken in account.
