Original vintage 1966 framed horizontal half sheet poster featuring the iconic Columbia Pictures film Georgy Girl, adapted from Margaret Forster's novel. Starring the talented ensemble of Lynn Redgrave, James Mason, Charlotte Rampling, and Alan Bates. Produced by Robert A. Goldston and Otto Plaschkes, and directed by Silvio Narizzanoo, with a screenplay by Margaret Forster and Peter Nichols. Notably, Lynn Redgrave clinched the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, and the film garnered four Academy Award nominations.
This limited edition poster is licensed and numbered 66/332, and housed in an elegant black frame measuring 28.5" x 22.25" x 1". A true collector's item for fans of classic cinema. The horizontal half sheet format movie poster size was introduced in the 1910s and was discontinued in the mid 1980s. less
